Cindy met us at the first house on a Sunday around noon. I remember thinking, man, she's flexible, I only asked to see this house three hours ago and here we are. If only I had known then what I know now. She literally dropped everything SO MANY TIMES for me. I was so certain on multiple occasions that I had found the perfect house online and I needed to see it that day. At the end of walking through that first house she asked my boyfriend and I what we would rate the house at on a scale of 1-10. Little did she know how asking that question at the end of so many houses helped he and I get on the same page as we kept looking. She was so patient with us, as we kept searching for a home that would work for us. She was realistic and helped us figure out what our priorities were. She offered real life advice, (for example, I was convinced I wanted a giant house the country, but it needed to be heated by propane - Cindy asked if we were prepared in our budget to afford that cost). What we once thought we wanted was soon out the window when we walked through a house in a subdivision on a Saturday afternoon. I knew it was the one the second I walked in (which for a finicky 29 year old first time home buyer was a pretty cool feeling). Cindy spent her Saturday evening helping us write up a competitive offer that wasn't over the top in a market where you can pay too much pretty easily. I was grateful for how she led us through the offer, which can be really intimidating. Cindy then literally walked us through every step of the home buying process imaginable. I never felt lost in the purchasing process because she was there to tell me what she needed from me in that moment and what to anticipate next. There were no surprises, which was something I needed to make the process go smoothly. She even got us back in the house after our offer was accepted so my boyfriend could ask me to marry him in the master bedroom of our future home. I am so glad she was there to celebrate with us. This was my first time as a home buyer, and I was working under a somewhat tight time frame. Cindy Garrett got me looking at several houses right away, and before long, I had an offer accepted. I would absolutely recommend Cindy Garrett as your realtor. She went above and beyond to find us our dream home.
